Interested in microbiology or structural biology? We are always looking for motivated and talented bachelor and master students to join our lab.

We currently have no open positions. If you are a PhD candidate or postdoctoral researcher interested in our work, please reach out to Florian to discuss suitable fellowships.

PI

Florian Altegoer

Florian holds a Master’s in Biology from the Ruhr University Bochum and the University of Gothenburg, and a PhD in Biology from the University of Marburg with a focus on structural biology. He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Marburg, the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology and the HHMI Janelia Research Campus. In 2022, Florian joined Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf as a research group leader in Microbial Interactions.
